Fata Morgana occupies a verdurous area of 40 acres and is located approximately 800m east of the fort of Frangokastello. With respect to the natural environment, Fata Morgana apartments and the colorful flower beds that surround them, have been incorporated in the olive grove, offering you a scenery and magnificent scents. One of the most beautiful beaches of Crete, Orthi Ammos (Standing Sand) is located within walking distance of Fata Morgana. Particularly suitable for families with children as the beach is sandy, shallow, with crystal clear blue waters and easy access.

Near the entrance of our facilities, there is the building of the reception area. Inside the reception, equipment for internet access, printing and faxing documents can be provided. Also there is a lending library and a container for collecting used batteries for recycling.
On our tavern you can enjoy homemade food, using fresh meats, local produce and olive oil of our own production. At your disposal from early in the morning, for the first coffee of the day, until late at night, for meze and raki. Always in a friendly atmosphere, with a smile and a panoramic view of the Libyan Sea.
Right next to the apartments and among the olive trees is the playground which offers hours of joy to the children. Near the reception there are bicycles available free of charge for a ride or shopping.
